Quasar was engaged by a confidential client to deliver the master plan for a 300MW greenfield data centre campus, one of the largest of its kind in Canada.

Working within a design-build framework, Quasar developed a scalable, phased infrastructure roadmap addressing:

  • High-capacity power distribution with redundancy and resilience strategies for full build-out

  • Mechanical and thermal systems optimized for high-density compute and liquid cooling integration

  • Site-wide master planning including white space layouts, modular growth strategies, and future expansion corridors

  • Design standards and methods-of-procedure tailored for fast-track delivery in live construction environments

This master plan provides the client with a clear, scalable pathway to build a next-generation campus capable of supporting the most demanding hyperscale and AI workloads, while aligning with long-term operational and sustainability goals.
