180 Bloor Street West Boutique Office Building

The Quasar team has been involved in a series of projects at 180 Bloor Street West.
HVAC Upgrades: Upgrades to the HVAC system and generator in a 14 storey office tower located at 180 Bloor St. The scope of work includes the design of a new VAV system and ductwork, relocating the existing cooling tower, installing a new generator on the roof, and upgrading the BAS for future tenant fit ups.
Lower Concourse Renovations: A new barrier free washroom and storage unit on the Concourse Level of 180 Bloor Street West. The design includes plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler head layout, electrical lighting, and power.
Base Building Services: Review and design of base building systems to accommodate new tenants in an office tower. This includes HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, fire protection, electrical lighting, power, and fire alarm systems.
Washroom Renovations: Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for new washrooms.
COVID 19 Investigation: Investigation of existing air flow, air changer, and air handling equipment in a commercial office building to identify opportunities to increase the volume of outdoor air, along with a conceptual design for implementing a bipolar ionization system in response to the COVID 19 pandemic.
