Mariscal Sucre International Airport
QUITO, ECUADOR
The New Mariscal Sucre International Airport, delivered through a Design-Build model, is located in Quito, Ecuador. It is one of the busiest airports in Latin America.
The airport's development encompassed both landside and airside facilities, including a main terminal, a 41-metre-tall air traffic control tower, cargo and support areas, and a 53,800 square-foot hangar for maintenance activities.
The electrical design features a medium voltage loop with 100% standby power to ensure reliability across all buildings. Additionally, the airport is equipped with the latest passenger and baggage handling solutions, including HI-SCAN EdtS automated X-ray screening equipment.
