Howden Recreation Centre

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO

The new 45,198 sq. ft. Howden Recreation Centre will replace the now-demolished Howden Recreation Centre in an effort to expand and enhance recreation programming in Brampton. The new recreation centre will include amenities such as a multi-sport court with change rooms, a fitness studio, a youth lounge, multi-purpose rooms, a seniors’ area, and a preschool. The facility will also include staff areas, storage space, and leasable spaces for daycare and special needs programming, as well as outdoor amenities. The new centre has been designed to achieve Net Zero Ready status and be certified to LEED Gold. Quasar is providing mechanical and electrical engineering services.
