Development and preparation of new Design and Construction Guidelines and Standards for ten sites at the University Health Network, covering 7 million sq. ft. of space. The intent of the new Standards was to create a single point of reference for all consultants, proponents, trades and operations staff to refer to, as well as a single place of reference for UHN project managers to evaluate consultant drawings and proposals to ensure continuity. The new Standards incorporate, build on and further expand the existing UHN practices and standards. In addition to the technical performance requirements narratives, the new Standards also include an evaluation scorecard to be used for each future project by the UHN Project Managers and a standard product matrix.
