The project involved constructing a new 2-storey, 128-bed fully accredited Long-Term Care Facility, designed for a future horizontal expansion adding 128 more beds. Space was allocated in the central mechanical penthouse for future equipment, such as air handling units, boilers, and water heaters. Careful planning ensured delivery pathways for future equipment installation without disrupting the building. Additionally, capped piping was routed in advance to facilitate the future expansion, minimizing disruption to the existing facility.
