Chelsea Gardens Affordable Housing Tower
BRAMPTON, ON
This development includes a residential tower designed to accommodate 200 rental units, along with all required amenity spaces and underground parking, on a site covering approximately 0.5 acres.
The new tower will be situated adjacent to two existing residential towers to the south, a childcare centre to the east, a commercial property to the north, and a municipal park to the west.
The project team is delivering a full suite of services for this project including engineering and sustainability. The residential tower will be a CAGBC Zero Carbon Building Design certified project and will adhere to the Peel Region Net Zero Standard for corporate buildings. Our team completed a thorough Net Zero Feasibility Study early in the design to provide direction to the building design. For each package of options, a detailed energy, carbon and LCCA analysis was conducted. An embodied carbon analysis was also completed as part of this study.
The team is providing ongoing support and reporting as the project moves through design to confirm that carbon and sustainability goals are being met.
