Region of Peel Manor Affordable Seniors Housing
BRAMPTON, ON
The Region of Peel is planning a new affordable seniors’ housing initiative, the Peel Manor Seniors Rental Building (PMSRB), at 525 Main Street, Brampton, ON. This proposed project will include a 10-storey residential tower with approximately 157,788 sq. ft. of space. It will provide 197 rental units, consisting of 187 one-bedroom units and 10 two-bedroom units, along with various amenity spaces and surface parking.
Situated on a 0.61-hectare (1.5-acre) site, the PMSRB is part of a broader Campus of Care community managed by the Region of Peel. To the east, there is an existing residential building, and to the west, a new Long-Term Care (LTC) facility is under construction, intended to replace the current facility on-site, which will be demolished once the new building is finished. Additionally, the project is conveniently located near a Salvation Army Resource Centre to the north and Manor Bridge, a six-storey residential building owned by the Region of Peel, to the south.
