Welland Fire and Emergency Headquarters and Training Centre
Scope
Design-build of new 28,300 sq. ft. fire and emergency headquarters and training centre. The facility includes a main lobby, training facility and classrooms, administrative, fire prevention, and training offices, five (5) drive-thru service bays, a multi-storey design, and storage areas.
Quasar’s partner Pratus, provided the Net-Zero Design Assist Energy Modelling in accordance with the CaGBC’s Zero Carbon Building Program and net-zero carbon (NZC) and net-zero energy (NZE) total energy use intensity (TEUI), thermal energy demand intensity (TEDI), and greenhouse gas intensity (GHGI) targets.
