The Canadian Institute of Health & Research (CIHR) were retrofitting 5 floors in an existing building at 234 Laurier Ave, Ottawa. The 75,000 square feet office space needed to be completely renovated to accommodate the CIHR group in an office space that adhered to the MyGCWorkplace fit-up standards. The space included open office areas, enclosed offices, program rooms as well as meeting rooms and social spaces. This specific project on the development involved the total building fit-up of the five floors of the building including the implementation of government workplace fit-up standards (MyGCWorkplace/Workplace 2.0). The project requirements included a design that met the Landlords requirements, PSPC’s as well as the end user.
