Foundry Lofts III Mixed Use Student Residence

Foundry Lofts III is a proposed series of mixed-use student residences located in close proximity to Brock University in Thorold, ON, and will serve to address student housing needs, enhance student life, and speak to the University’s overall vision for the campus. Intended to be constructed in two phases, this site will accommodate a mix of residential, amenity, and retail uses, creating a vibrant connected urban student community.
The student residence includes 3 buildings, each housing 60-200 students for a total of 544 beds in 381 suites. The Foundry Lofts is a privately owned residence adjacent to campus, which currently contains a 5-storey suite-style residence with 160 rooms in four-bedroom units. The estimated combined GFA is ~20,000 m2, which includes approximately 1,300 m2 of amenity space and 600 m2 of retail across the site, much of which will be located on the ground floor.
