The Niagara College Student Residence is a purpose-built, 350-bed housing facility on the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus. It offers a mix of suitestyle and singleoccupancy units, secured entry vestibules, communal kitchens, study and activity rooms, laundry facilities, indoor bicycle storage and outdoor gathering areas. Quasar Consulting Group provided Mechanical (including BAS), Electrical and ICAT engineering plus sustainability advisory services—spanning concept and schematic design workshops, energy modelling, design development, construction document preparation and full contract administration. The facility showcases high efficiency HVAC, lowflow plumbing, fire protection, LED lighting and power distribution integrated with a Building Automation System, delivering accessible, low carbon, low maintenance performance throughout.
