Town of Newmarket Adaptive Reuse of the Mulock House

Quasar Consulting Group provided full-service M/E/ICAT engineering for the adaptive reuse of the historic Mulock House—a 13,000 sq ft two-storey heritage residence on a four-hectare estate. From concept through contract administration, our team conducted site evaluations and concept option studies, led schematic design charrettes, and executed detailed design of HVAC, plumbing, two-stage pre-action sprinkler and fire protection systems, lighting, power distribution and BAS integration. We also managed accessibility upgrades, heritage envelope restoration and final O&M deliverables to convert the facility into community, cultural and gallery spaces.
