NEW WINDSOR-ESSEX HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE BUILDING

This project is part of Phase 1 of the Enabling Work project for the Fansy Family Hospital Project, estimated at more $2 billion.
New 175,000 GSF, 5-Storey Office Building, targeting LEED Silver, with the primary focus of providing all office support spaces for the new Hospital. In addition to housing over 450 staff, the building will contain a 1,500 sq. ft. auditorium for education purposes and a ‘Clinical SIM Centre’ which contains training spaces for the acute Care Hospital.
The project incorporates sustainable, future-ready design elements including increased floor-to-floor heights, enhanced exit capacity, and provisions for mechanical and electrical upgrades to accommodate long-term growth and the expansion of ambulatory services.
The design further advances sustainability through LEED v4 Silver certification targets and solar PV integration, while aligning with Ontario's emissions reduction goals and ensuring seamless coordination of security, IT, building automation, and mechanical and electrical systems.
