York Region Transitional and Emergency Housing Facility
AURORA, ONTARIO
New 6,000 sq. ft., 5-storey Transitional and Emergency Housing Facility to provide transitional and emergency housing to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The facility is designed with elements that promote wellness, safety, accessibility and inclusivity. Passive House design and LEED Gold standards have been used throughout the design, with the intent of certification. Additionally, the design is compliant with AODA standards and York Region Accessibility Design Guidelines.
