McMaster University John Hodgins Engineering Building Addition Study
Toronto, ON, CA
The project involved revisiting and updating the 2016 feasibility study for a 25,000 sq. ft. expansion or addition to the John Hodgins Engineering Building at McMaster University. Five options were analyzed, including vertical and lateral additions, with a focus on mechanical and electrical (M&E) feasibility.
The scope included a site visit, stakeholder engagement, evaluation of site conditions, programming, and campus integration. M&E input was provided for Class D cost estimates, and feasibility schematics and concept plans were developed. Deliverables included a feasibility design brief and supporting documentation for informed decision-making.
