Minto Group’s The Saint, 89 Church Street

Scope

New 312,200 sq. ft., 407-unit, 46-storey residential tower with 6-levels of parking and ground floor retail space. The mechanical and electrical design for this project included a 4-pipe chilled and heating water system utilizing chillers with variable speed compressors and multiple internal module high efficiency condensing boilers. The design also utilized LED lighting throughout the building and chilled condenser heat recovery to pre-heat the domestic hot water. The mechanical plant was modelled in Revit to LOD 400 fabrication level to ensure all equipment and piping would adequately fit the space. The building and mechanical systems were also designed with a WELL strategy in mind.
