York University – ADERSIM Laboratory and Emergency Operations Centre

Scope

4000 sq. ft. of renovation within the existing basement of the Schulich Building, which is currently a concrete shell, non-occupiable space. Program areas within the scope of the project include a new Emergency Operations Centre and Dual-Purpose Simulation (Research) Classroom Space, Meeting Rooms, Office Space, New Staff Lounge, Kitchenette, washrooms, and associated ancillary support space. Mechanical and Electrical systems were designed to be standalone and redundant from existing facility services.
