Microsoft - 5MW Data Centre Upgrades
Quasar Consulting Group provided electrical engineering design for 5MW of upgrades to Microsoft’s Toronto data centre, integrating new UPS systems, standby generation, and critical white space expansion within a live facility. Resilient Infrastructure for TTC's Green Bus Program
Quasar Consulting Group and Pratus Group delivered resilient infrastructure for the Toronto Transit Commission’s Green Bus Program, supporting the transition to a fully zero-emission fleet by 2040. At the Arrow Road facility, Quasar engineered and commissioned a 6MW generator plant and backup power systems enabling simultaneous charging for 200 e-buses, ensuring continuous operations and grid resiliency for Toronto’s electric transit network.
Bank of Montreal SCC Data Centre Upgrades
Quasar Consulting Group delivered critical upgrades to Bank of Montreal’s SCC Data Centre in Scarborough, converting office space into a new Tier III data hall with concurrently maintainable UPS and switchgear systems.
